What We Actually Do
A material science company, not a marketing campaign
Terramtech is a material science company. We’ve engineered a real replacement for plastic — proprietary formulations and application processes that match plastic on performance, price, and scale, with no trade-off. Food packaging is our first target: eliminate the waste, for planet, people, and profit.
We do it with proprietary, bio-based coatings, engineered together with each customer, and applied to paper, board, and molded fiber — the plates, bowls, cups, and trays people use every day.
Some of the world’s biggest food brands have already made the switch. And food packaging is just the first target.
Why It Matters
The problem we got out of bed for
Plastic doesn’t go away. It lingers for centuries, and it’s turning up in places it was never meant to be — including inside the human body. That’s not solved with good intentions. It’s solved with rigor.
Which is also why it has to make business sense, not just moral sense — for our customers, and for us. That’s the whole bet: sustainability, price, and performance, without the trade-off anyone’s been forced to make until now.
